This battery is EVERY BIT AS GOOD as the brand name canon batteries... I took a ton of pictures (with long exposures, which usually drains the battery really quickly) with no problems. If you get the official Canon battery you're paying for the printing on the plastic case - - this battery is legit. I was highly impressed.
